Here are some of the many ways you can help:

• Like Stepping Stones Shelter (SSS) on Facebook, Instagram, and follow us on Twitter You can ‘invite’ your friends to like us too
• Tell friends and family about SSS
• Sign up to receive Stepping Stones email blasts
• Forward SSS emails to 10 of your friends
• Send information on SSS current needs to your neighborhood listserv
• In lieu of birthday or holiday gifts, ask friends to donate to SSS in your honor
• Invite a friend to SSS for a tour

• Purchase tickets to our annual fundraiser and ask 10 friends to also buy tickets
• Gather business cards from new contacts and ask if they wouldn’t mind receiving SSS emails
• Donate monetarily to SSS, either online or by mail
• Pledge to donate monthly
• Check to see if your company participates in matching gifts to maximize your donation
• Give to SSS through workplace giving

• Organize a donation drive of needs list items
• Sponsor a family for the holidays—food at Thanksgiving, gifts at Christmas
• Host an event (a fashion show, a party, bake sale, car wash, etc.) to benefit SSS
• Volunteer as a group (i.e., a corporate group, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, religious organization, civic or community group, fitness club, gardening club, etc.)
• Volunteer as an individual
• Help plan and carry out fundraisers and other events for the shelter
